A quiet day

Fortunately today has been a bit quieter, a short trip (1 hour) by taxi to the old city of Ayutthaya and visiting some of the old Wat (temple) ruins (in incredible heat and humidity). We actually ordered the taxi to take us to the train station, but then the taxi driver said he would take us all the way for 700 baht (less than NZ$30).

Tomorrow we're going out to a local village....our last bit on the ground in Thailand.

Hi Gavin Karen Lena, Emma, and Alice. Jeremy here. I Have only just descovered how to get onto this blog site. Your travels are amazing and you all look so excited and happy. There is so much material on the site - so I have a lot of catching up to do. I am in awe of what you all are achieving. I am sitting at Barry's computer (Girls you will not know barry but he went to university with gavin,Karen and I years ago). We are reading your blog with so much fascination and interest. I have not been on computer for weeks now that I have resigned from work.

Rupert has just turned up and I now need to show him your site. So see you later
love Jeremy
